Keren Coxe

Washingtonian, Keren Coxe has gone
through many changes in her life. She
was the first female physics major to graduate from Virginia Tech. She found work as a statistician and received
graduate degrees in statistics from the University
of Pittsburgh and the George Washington University. After suffering brain trauma in an accident,
which left her no longer able to continue her work as a statistician,
her
interest turned to Art. In 1984 she began
with an interest in stained glass, taking a course at the Art League
and making
this a hobby for 10 years. Later
taking
classes at George Washington University and Prince Georges Community
College
she went on to study watercolor, other water media, design and collage.
